Help!  I can't post a new thread for some reason...
Issue with Resetting Z2 Pro to Factory settings due to Android 8 pin/pattern not being recognized.
I only have 5 options and none are Clear EMMC.
1. Auto Test
2. Test Report
3. GPS (something)
4. Version Information
5. Restart Phone.

Anyone know how to get to the EMMC option?

Have done some tests to arrive at the followings:-

Basically the operating system fails to recognize the pin or pattern after a reboot.  

The only way to get over is to do a factory reset.  Advice available post #37 by the Admin bencebascsi.  The same advice is given by Gearbest which responded to my ticket promptly.

Luckily the password section still work so use only the password to start the phone, thereafter Fingerprint and face recognition will work satisfactory too. Using pin will get "wrong pin" and pattern "wrong pattern".  This is a serious bug UMI must resolve quickly.  I now start the phone with my password.  Thereafter using either the fingerprint or face recognition to unlock.  It is not an ideal cure but to be fair the phone is now 100% functional and I have moved all my app and 14GB whatsapp data into it plus inserting a 256GB SD card.

Still trying out the other sections which appear satisfactory in my ceramic version. Mic, bluetooth, camera, phone and GPS all work as expected.

Nice phone.  Shame about the teething trouble which I believe is to do with the software and should be eradicated with an update.

Dear Users,
If you have security pattern, camera etc issues, please perform a factory data reset from recovery as the followings:
1. Press and hold the volume-up and power buttons together until your phone restarts. It needs about 10 seconds or a little bit less.
2. When your phone is restarted, immediately release the power button but still hold the vol-up button until you see a lying android figure with an exclamation mark in red triangle on its tummy and ‘No command’.
3. Press and hold the power and vol-up buttons (in this order) together, then release them to call the recovery menu. Now you can move with the volume buttons and select an item with the power button.
4. Move to ‘Wipe data/factory reset’ and select it.
5. On the next screen move down to 'Yes...' and select it. Now your phone will be reset to its factory settings.
6. On the next screen press the power button again to reboot your phone

All software issues are correct at Z2 so you no need to be worried about Z2 pro software.
Please don't forget that we already released Umidigi One Pro and this gave to us more feedback about software and our experience gave to us possibilities to release Umidigi Z2 pro without major bugs etc.

Anyone know where we can find transparent case for Umidigi Z2 Pro ?
Because I can not find it and it's ridiculous to buy a nice phone to put it in a black shell...
Any idea ?

Ordered 3 weeks ago from Gearbest. Still waiting for them to ship the phone. When you open a ticket asking when will the shipment be made the only answer is a standard message saying 7-15 business days (which they do not accomplish) or an option to exchange the order.

Lousy customer service. Probably will have to learn Chinese in order for them to understand the questions...

You can also looking for Z2 or Z2SE because body design and measurement are the same.

Hopefully there aren't any problems with delivering the phone.

I ordered my Z2 pro yesterday evening from GB. earlier shipping time was sept 5-7, now sept 13-17.
Do they even have one phone to ship? I am afraid they haven't received it from the manufacturer (umidigi)  yet
Pls tell us good news about it!
