The bluetooth is horrible...

Hello all,

I got my s2pro, flashed the unofficial rom to remove bloatware, the speed of the phone is okay, but then the other problem comes.

The bluetooth connection, I am using the dash as my headphone, but the bluetooth is so bad that even I am holding the phone, it keeps disconnecting and disconnecting.

When i use the same headphone with another mobile device like iphone6, oneplusone, the old phones even perform a better job than the umidigi s2pro.

The worst part is, you have removed the 3.5mm jack, and of course you may say I have a usb c converter, but this still doesnt solve the problem that the bluetooth is horrible, and bluetooth headset is actually the big trend.
I cannot believe the phone is doing bad on this part...I wonder if I am the only guy who has this issue?

If the moderator or umidigi side has a solution for me, I would be happy to listen.

No there is no need to tell the Samsung S3 Gear to actively make it search for bluetooth device. Just watch this video you will understand the issue:

And please, provide a constructive answer based on customers feedback instead of your "tests"! we are several having the same issue but you seem to not hear us....

I have just tried a brand new wireless headset with my friend
he bought it, paired it, we walked on the same road, no disconnection

I take his headset, paired it with my Umi, walked on the same road again, jesus that disconnection kills literally everything on this world.

Dont tell me its not the phone's issue, it definitely is.

Hi im also having trouble with the bluetooth, just received this phone and just today also got my samsung gear s3, which will connect to my old phone, but not the s2 pro, if there a patch you guys can release to fix the bluetooth drop outs? cheers

I am hoping this is not hardware issue, instead it is only because of the badly written os.

no..mine cannot recognize too
thats why i rely very much on my bluetooth headset

to me the usb c converter is not that important so i didnt mention in my first post

I have exactly the same problem. Bluetooth is always connecting, disconnecting and finally after some while it shuts down completely. What I found out is, that this only happens within the reach of my WLAN-router. Outside the building it works fine.

Sorry I am bumping this thread up as this is an important issue to all but it should take minimal effort for the team to solve in the next patch!
