Umi Super - touchscreen replacement

Hello, I want to ask you something .
Can I replace only the touchscreen of my Umi , or I have to replace the  both -   the Display and the Touchscreen ?

You need only part number from old LCD. Don't worry about android or kernel version.

You can buy only touch digitiser with glass ( OGS unit) for around €10 - 13 or complete screen with lcd for around €20-25.
Please check on aliexpress.
I don't recommend replacing only digitiser as you need use special tools to separate old digitiser from LCD and then use special glue to join new digitiser to old LCD.
Labour time and cost also possibility of going something wrong as incorrect position of LCD to digitiser is too high.

I agree with MarcinP, it´s better to buy both digitiser and LCD.
Umi super is easy to replace.
Don't forget the screw behind the fingerprint sensor.

Hello, good morning, I'm from Brazil.
I would like to know which original umi super screen manufacturer as I needed to swap my broken screen.
I check on aliexpress who exists documents and similar.
I believe that the similar ones are made of vagabond glass and the originals of a better material like gorilla glass ...
Brands I found: BTSSZE, IParto, Ocolor, Hazy beaty and others.


I would also like to know if this device really has gorilla glass.
Well I'm looking to buy the newest unit from umidigi, but I'm afraid of screen quality.

Different umi /umidigi devices containing different screens protection. Some have gorilla glass 3, some 4 some dragon glass, etc you need read specifications of model you want too buy

Umidigi S2 and S2 pro contains Gorilla Glass 4

Some examples, gold, or with different characteristics.
