Fingerprint reader not working

That says it all really.  Fingerprint reader was fine until yesterday, but now doesn't work.  Can't use it to unlock phone.  Can't use it to add new finger print. No message, nothing.  Just like it's not there.

Anyone have any ideas?

Do you still can see it in the security settings? At least did you reboot your phone? The current system is not yet perfect, it needs some more updates, so the input devices (touch screen, buttons and fingerprint scanner) may get frozen sometimes and in that case you have to reboot your phone.

Since the update is with me no unlock the apps more. To unlock the phone, only the apps are no longer.

Yep, a reboot was the first thing I tried.  I see Fingerprint in the security menu and it lists the stored fingerprints and gives me the option to add new ones, but it doesn't seem to get any input from the sensor.

Please remove all of your existing fingerprints, then try to set them again.
