Umi Super Screen Situation.

Ok so this is the 4th screen iv replaced on this umi super now and still got problems.
Basically the 1st time and 2nd time screen worked fine, they broke so im replacing screen again now.
The 3rd time i installed a new screen the phone went crazy with ghost touches. So i thought it was a problem with the screen and have recieved the 4th screen.
Just installed that and still got crazy ghost touches. So i downgraded from android 7 to andoird 6 using flash tool i found in this forum.
Now i have a new problem. The bottom row of the screen does not work. I have tried putting the 3rd screen i got back in and same problem, the bottom row does not work. So it seems that the actual screen is not the problem but maybe the phone itself?!? I dont know what to do.....

Nope just under warranty on my HTC m8. Just something that if you think about it is only logical to do. Here in Europe you get 2 years factory warranty then it would be impossible for a manufacturer to only give a warranty of 6 months on a phone that YOU CANNOT OPEN WITHOUT LOOSING WARRANTY. That's is why in this "sealed"  models  the battery Carries the same warranty as the phone. On the others models that you can change battery then it's like you did said before they do carry ( not sure but red it somewhere) a warranty of 6 months for the battery.

Sorry for being a pain but what you say is only appliable with phones with a removable battery. This is not the case with umi super. If you try to replace the battery you loose the warranty because you have to dismantle the phone. All major company have this policy.

In this situation you should use SPFT and flash complete ROM with firmware upgrade or format + download.

I have already tried that. I spent all day today flashing roms. I tried the latest rom as well as 3 different older rom versions. Still have same problem. And now i have noticed when i put sim in, it can detect sim card but i get no network?!?

If network not working may be a problem from flash erased imei. Try *#06# to check. U can put back imei with snwriter.

how do i use snwriter to put imei back on? the strange thing is when i put my vodafone sim in it shows 1's and 2's for imei but when i try my husbands ee sim the imei shows properly. Is that normal?!?

The value of 111/222 means nvram is corrupt. For different sim card can be correct,  To repair use sn writer....i had same issues working now.

Yes i did. I still have the old broken screen and the FN number on the back are the same.
