Problem that in FAQ of gearbest the answer of question about led notification is "No, it does not have notification LED."

It's clearly visible, there's a notification LED on the bottom. https://youtu.be/HuBwGvmCDJY?t=17
It's also mentioned on the specifications page in the 'Other Features' section here: http://www.umidigi.com/page-umidigi_crystal_specification.html
So it's a question, why the gearbest representative gave that faulty answer.

It ...

Will it have different colours or just red? Can we use a 3rd party app to select  different colours for different apps?

It will be a multicolor LED. The level of compatibility with third party apps is not yet known.

How do you get it to show anything else than (boring) white colour?
I haven't found any setting,  ...

Lightflow is the go-to app for controlling LEDs but it won't work with the crystal. I can't get any colour but white. Changing LED settings in the phone settings app in combination with light flow settings doesn't make any difference.

It looks like it's just a white LED, not an RGB one.

Hi Roph!
Have you found another setting besides [Settings] - [Display] -  for the LED?

No, Lightflow is an app you install that allows much finer control of LEDs. For instance on my LG G2 (RGB LED) I can choose any colour I like and choose frequency, time, even blink multiple colours in succession for multiple outstanding notifications etc.

The app doesn't do anything on the crystal though, it seems the LED is "Locked down".

Looking carefully at the LED itself when it is on, it does look like it's just a plain white LED. An RGB LED showing white tends to not be uniform white, you can sort of see the red/white/blue mixing.

I'm pretty certiain the crystal is just a white LED.

I found a new issue, the notification led continued to blink even when there was no notification

this thing did not do it before, the only thing I can think of is that the led bugged after i did the root. I don't know, I did not touch anything else in the cell apart of this (the root)

what do you say? did you have any problems too with the led notification? how can i fix it? it is useless to have the led notifications if it flashes infinitely ...... I just triggered it for notifications and missed calls
