Hello,

I want to order the new Iron Pro but i don't find the SAR in your specification (Specific Absorption Rate) ?
Can you give me more information about that please.

Thank you.

Anticipating the official statement.

There are only a very few MeediaTek Soc based phones with known SAR values on the market. Xiaomi, Meizu and other famous models are not different. You can expect a value between 0.5-1.0W/kg head.
On the other hand, let me ask reversed. Have you ever known about a branded cell phone that had a such unhealthy high SAR value? Have you ever heard about anybody who proven got sick (cancer) from cell phone radiation?

No. I will check with UMI.

On another note...why would you like to know?

Hi every body,

Thank you for your responses.

Each phone commercialized on the European market has a SAR value.
But any way, it's my choice to buy my phone by UMI.

My father is dead with a brain tumour and he was all the time on his phone...(And the tumour was on the same side than the phone) It's not a rumour for me, it's real. But I use a maximum my headset.

0.5-1.0W/Kg It's a class B. But you can't compare a phone to an other because each phone is different. Look, the Huawei Ascend G7 has a SAR = 1,31 W/Kg. You can easily thinking, It's a same phone but he's not.

I'm really interested by the iron pro, but yes I don't know if I want to play with my head like the funny game 'Russian roulette' (Yes, I know, It's extreme...)

If you hear something more, I'm always interested.

Again thank you for your interest.

Since you're in a special case (my condolences to your father), I wouldn't argue with you now. On the other hand, rumors get born by such coincidences. On yet another hand, if you make phone calls for several hours every day, you obviously should use a headset since that much more comfortable. Simply keeping your hand in the height of your head every day for a very long time can cause circulatory diseases.

HI BB,
since you are moderator in this forum I would expect from you precise and clear replies to questions submitted by clients. Answers like "you can expect SAR between...."  are ambigous and make me doubting you are tring to hide the real information. Please state the official data from UMI. All manufacturers have such data available
