Umi plus E android 7. Promised but still not provided

I was sold an umi plus E that was meant to have android 7. There is still no update available. If umi doesnt support this phone and provide an update I will never buy another phone from umi again. I'm getting fed up.  UMI when will this update be available if ever?

Stop bringing out new slightly different phones every month and concentrate on improving the os for existing phones.

Also I have the problem with UMI PLUS E ( € 230,00  bought 3 months ago)
It easily unlocks the phone without my fingerprint.
It happens many times in my pants pocket the phone turns on without unlocking with my fingerprint.

Guys, sorry to hear that people are still being fooled by this device. We are quite a lot in the same situation.
But to be honest, there are like 300 posts and 20 or 30 threads about plus E that will never get 7.0, and the reasons why. Same for fingerprint sensor, same for faulty fake sony battery, and crappy camera. First threads and warnings were posted at the very beginiong, that is to say roughly November 2016.
Have you checked anything about that phone before losing your money to Umidigi ?

Hi, no I did not read before buying Umi plus E posts on this community.
.......but I was aware of so many blogs (smartphone blogs) and saw many videos in youtube.
Many people of these blogs and video reviews said that Umidigi released Android 7 for Umi plus E in May or Summer 2017.

Trusting is good not to trust is better.
I have a Umi Max and it's okay.
Now I'm disappointed and I will not buy Umi or Umidigi again.

Yeah, there have been lots of posts here where people like you and me were complainibng and not understand why so many videos, blogs, ads or sites were advertising 7.0 for it, but nothing was coming from umi. We have been told several different stories from admin here. They are either cheaters or unskillfull.
However, to be honest, if you check the community for other devices that were upgraded to 7.0, well...most people that did are crying and begging to find a way to downgrade, as roms have been pushed forward in a hurry without adequate checking process resuting in badly behaving device...so all in all...better decent 6.01 than crappy 7.0 to my opinion.
Android security patches outdated since january 2017 is a much bigger concern to us....
