[Question] UMi Z Root with SPFT

Hello!

I have found this unclear: when you root your UMi Z with SP Flash Tool, do you loose all of your data (as you're adding a TWRP over the top of the original ROM, therefore you'd need to use a backup), or, do you keep your data that you had prior to rooting?

As GamingMonster said, if you flash only recovery with TWRP and then use it to install the supersu zip file you keep all your data.
