UMI Z replacement screen - which one to chose

Hi,

I've dropped my Umi Z and its screen cracked. Sh..t happens. :-( It's tiny crack, but the problem is that it affected functionality. Part of the screen is not responsive. Now I need to replace it and I did my google search finding many options. Which one to pick?

Original UMI Z spec says it's Sharp IGZO screen with Dragontrail glass, but on aliexpress or ebay none say IGZO or Sharp or dragontrail. It just says LCD and varius brands like iPartio, Weicheng, Blackview etc. Some even have different resolution! Not a word about scratch resistancy.

So the questions are:
- is it just poor wording, wrong information or these replacement screens are just cheap substitutes and I should not expect quality or durability.
- if anyone got their screen replaced and is happy, could post a link to their buy, so I just follow the suit, please?
- would replacement screen for Umi Z PRO work with Umi Z?
- Umi support, is there any official distribution channel to buy replacement screen without breaking the bank? Or any other safe source to get original replecement?

Meanwhile prepare for a swollen battery, it had happened to me after a lot of people complained on the forums. The worst part is that I can't find any replacement battery to buy. Maybe they are working to correct the issue before releasing others.

Hi, I got the same. Just arrived. I tore my phone down, but it looks like the screen is glued to the plastic back plate. How to replace it? so far it was easy but now I have no idea. Have you done yours already?

I had the same problem. Yes the screen is glued. But you need to remove the screen with some force and tools. (my screen was damaged before, so i couldn't destroy anything). After removing, i fixed the new screen with the newglue from the set. And after reassembly every looks and works fine. So just try.
