Is there a way to change the full Black notification Bar on android 7.1.1 with root?

I found the solution but you need root and a build prop.
I use buildprop. The code you Will be looking for is called ro.kw_black_statuspanel=yes
To make it transparent just change yes to no.
Restart device and you are done

I agree. Why cant we have it transparent?

I do not know .. I have tried with many themes of substratum themes and none works. The icons become transparent and the black color becomes dark gray
