Hello everyone, recently our dear company has played on its servers the update for android 7.1.1 and with that some bugs have appeared, before even installing, so I am here to solve the one that appears after you download the version by the program and Tries to execute it.
7.1.1 and you all excited wanting to download and update your phone to make the phone smoother than it already is and can not by a simple message that prevents it: Package Error

Why does this occur?

This message at least in my case occurred because I had a memory card plugged into my device, and by some means, the OTA Update program saves by default on the memory card the updates for as long as you do not want to.

How to check?

Just go to Settings > Arming and watch the memory card space increase while you are downloading the update.

What to do?

Go to Settings > Storage > Return to Standard Disk recording for Internal Device Storage (If it was on the memory card) > Eject the Memory Card (Remove it from the device if possible) > Restart the Phone > Restart the OTA Update > Enjoy Android 7.1.1

This is it, everyone, I hope that in you this little tutorial solves the situation, enjoy android 7.1.1

It's okay, I just wanted to make it clear, normally you can download and install the update from SD card without any issue. I did it with a 64GB Samsung EVO in my test phone.

1. If you have a good quality micro SD card installed in your phone and formatted to FAT32 file system, you won't face such issues.
2. In the first hour when the update got released, the OTA file was incomplete on the server.
