Some suggestions

With the Nougat update everything seems to be pretty good, but it is missing a few key things that some other phones do have.
The notification area. As it currently sits the notification area is entirely black. It would look and feel much nicer if it were transparent, or at least an option to make it transparent.
The physical buttons need more customization option. I personally don't ever use the menu button and would rather switch it with the recent app menu. It would be nice to also allow the home button to be held and bring up the google assistant.
