I got my phone 2 days ago and noticed that my wifi connection drops and reconnects (sometimes I have to do it manually). The problem only occurs when reception is only 2 bars. I have tried changing my modem channel and also IPv4 settings to Static. (Changing proxy settings is worst). And also sometimes it shows connected but I get no connection.

Can anybody help please? That's really annoying

As long as it takes.
At least - the UMi DEV team acknowledged the problem and indicated that it's being tackled with.
So... We wait and we wonder.

If the signal strength gets weaker because the long distance between the router and the phone, other environmental radio signal sources might disturb the connection. I suggest you to try with a different WiFi router at a different place.

The connection is good on other phones. Wifi analyizer on Iron also captures more signal than the others.
I thought it was a software problem and I flashed Flyme OS but the problem still occurs.

You should try with another WiFi router at a different place. If you experience the same issue, that can mean a hardware issue. It's rare but sometimes happens: The WiFi antenna is connected to the mainboard with two pins. If one of them doesn't have a proper connection, you might be able to measure a good signal strength but with unstable data connection. If that's the case, the phone should be disassembled to adjust the position of that pin.

I'm having issues with wifi, even tho I have it set to "always" connect when sleeping, it still sleeps.  Any ideas?

We've been waiting for a month for a next update and meanwhile umi is releasing other phones and not correcting the gliches on previous releases -_-
The question is how long should we further wait for a next update!
