Has anyone else noticed that the range for bluetooth (BT) connection with eMax is pretty short?
At least when I compare it to my previous cheap zte china phone.

The range only covers roughly 2-3 meters and then the sound thru my bluetooth speaker starts to break up or stop completely.

Anyway to remedy this? Perhaps some Mobileuncle tool tip or BT boosting or whatnot?

I need at least 4 meter range for my BT speaker.

For Umi officials: If the BT range/power is only adjustable by some complex ROM parameters. Please look in to it when you develop Lollipop 5.0/5.1.

Dear SuqMaediq,

Your issue seems to be unique, nobody has reported this before. I also a user of an eMAX but the BT range is pretty long at me. Your problem can be caused by a rare compatibility issue (please, try another BT device) or the BT antenna has a bad connection to the mainboard in your phone. In this second case your eMAX should be disassembled to adjust the antenna.

Edited by SuqMaediq at 2015-9-19 22:33 \n\nCheers for the answer.
I'll try to run some tests to narrow down the issue.

This isn't a huge issue for me. I just run into it in a one particular place where I didn't have the issue with my last MTK phone. But I was wondering if someone else has noticed anything about the BT quality on eMax or if someone would know how to tweak it a bit with a software/Mobileuncle tools. At this point I am not willing to open up the phone to inspect it.
I am running the MANOWARACERO rom but it did the same with the official V3 as well.

There's no way to increase the signal strength by software tweaking and if the BT works properly but with low range, then that's your only problem. The antenna itself can be tweaked for better performance. I did that many times, althoug with cheaper Chinese phones.
