Contacts not saving

Help! I can't save any new contacts on my Umi Diamond X! I have all my old contacts imported from my simply (or possibly from my email account?), but whenever I try to add a new contact it simply disappears as soon as I save it! Can anyone help?

You probably need to set in contacts from which source are contacts that are being shown.

It's normal Android phone practice. Usually the ones being shown are from your google account and new numbers get save directly on phone memory.
Set it that way that phone shows contacts from phone memory.
