Dear Umidigi,
It is great that you've implemented the latest SOC from Mediatek, the Helio X27 in your flagship smartphones UMI Z and UMIDIGI Z Pro. But it is quite disappointing that you are not exploiting the Helio X27 at its best. In this thread I want to talk about image stabilisation or more precisely video recording stabilisation. I know that the UMI Z/Z Pro do not have optical image stabilisation (OIS) but why no electronic image stabilisation (EIS) as well? The Mediatek's Helio X series SOC support EIS+gyro video stabilisation (a similar technology found in the Google Pixel). That is the SOC utilises the phone's gyroscope and electronically stabilise the video while recording to provide smooth recording. This is a must in the UMI Z/ Z Pro and the phone does support that because the Helio X27 supports it. So why not implement that? Also with the Imagiq feature of the Helio X27, we can actually record slow motion video (the Meizu MX5 does record at 100 FPS with the Helio X10) OR do 480 FPS video playback at 1080P according to Mediatek, so why not implement that as well?

I know that UMIDIGI are learning, improving and progressing. It is also nice that UMIDIGI are listening to the real time users and solving issues via updates. As a user I would like to get these features mentioned above in my smartphone just because the phone is capable of doing it but not exploiting these features. Make the UMI Z/ Z Pro better and make UMIDIGI a better brand

Very interesting observation.
EIS, if possible, could be very useful for the UMI Z(PRO) users.
Thank you.

Yeah, I really want slowmotion and those imagiq features.
Stabilization is aslo welcome...
