google assistant Does not work with physical buttons

Hi

I have problem with remapping physical home button.

Long press on physical home button is respond to recent apps.

When I have a virtual buttons enable, long press home button activate google assistant.
And the menu button responds to the recent apps

How can I remap physical buttons to do the same like virtual.

Short answer: you cannot. But you are not alone. It would be nice. But really dont bet on that we will get that.

I am on the latest android 7 rom and it works with physical buttons but you lose fast charge etc
