After I charged my phone in the car 2 weeks ago seems the fast charging stopped working and now it takes 6-8 hours for a full charge with the original charger.
How can this fast charging be reverted and turned on again? Seems you don't provide a UI for that, so is there another way?
It depends how did your car charged the phone. I would check the battery stats using either service menu *#*#33#*#*>SINGLE TEST-> Baterry. Or use an app like Aida64. Check the remaining power, temperature, charging current.
If it doesn´t work properly I would try to power cycle the phone - drain the battery and let the phone turn off by itself, then fully charge it using the original charger and cable.
Well it says charge voltage is about 4500 mV, which seems OK. But the speed of charging is still 1% per 5 minutes. And it does not say anymore "fast charging" but just "charging" at the bottom of the screen when plugging in the cable.
The capacity of battery is in mAh, the voltage is in mV and the charging current should be in mA. As I said I would try to power cycle the phone. Many users reported problems with fast charging so it might be related. We were not able to nail the source of the problems yet.

I tried a couple of times draining the battery until the phone completely stopped turning on, removed the SIM card and waited for about 30 minutes. But the fast charging does not kick in. Maybe you should provide UI for users to be able to turn this fast charging on and off until you find a better solution? It is nightmare to be on charger all day long.
@martinirov The fast charging depends on many factors like so it really cannot be implemented as a simple on-off toggle mostly for safety reasons. You don´t want your phone to explode, your cable to burn etc.
@Raffo I remember one of the reviewers had a problem with provided USB cable too, so trying different cable is a good idea.
I already have another cable that fits better but it makes no difference. So let's pray you'll fix the issue or at least have a working workaround soon while I sit with my phone in the charger all the time...
I have the same problem, my umidigi z pro has been fast charging fine for a year and all of a sudden lost the capability a few days ago. Now take 6-7 hours to fully charge from 0%. tried lots of new cables.
