This is the SP Flash Tool version of the

V3.03_20170211 firmware

for UMI Rome X

Flash Tool operation is recommended for experienced users only. Do not use it if you cannot understand the whole process!

WARNING!

SP Flash Tool is not for updating your phone but for repairing its software if needed. You get all available and needed updates via OTA. This release here should be compatible with all hardware releases of UMi Rome X. However, if your phone has currently a different ROM version (not V3.03) installed, this ROM still might be incompatible.

This one is an update under the new brand name 'UMIDIGI' and it won't be available via FOTA update (due to the brand change), you can flash it only with SP Flash Tool.

UMIDIGI Rome X is not a different model, it's just a new brand. You can update your UMi Rome X smartphone with this ROM without risking its usability and without voiding your warranty. It is an official update for UMi Rome X.

If you are updating an earlier version, it is recommended to flash this ROM as 'Firmware Upgrade'!

Extract the .rar file before use. The scatter file (MT6580_Android_scatter.txt)

is inside the extracted folder, together with the other elements.

Windows 10 already automatically can install it or you can use this: MTK_Driver_Auto_Installer_SP_Drivers_20160804.exe

older version with hx8394f_cmi55_kurui_hd display is not supported again - since november rom. I want to upgrade because battery indicator is not working - it stucks on some percentage(i.e. 90%) and keeps showing it for a while(maybe a day) and when suddenly phone switchs off - so you don't know when to charge it, also proximity sensor may unlock the screen during call - and touchpanel pressing some buttons - so it turn on loudspeaker - and everyone around can hear your conversations or it mute microphone and you can't be heard. GPS is not working too. It's really bad.

Don't work GPS on Russia how to fix?
