UMU PLUS E - Bluetooth problems - Phone Audio not selectable - SOLVED

All Bluetooth devices that I add, I cannot activate phone audio option.
I've tried my car Bluetooth and two Bluetooth headset (LG and other).

Help, please...

I have exactly the same problem
My Umi E Plus replaced a Nexus 5 which worked perfectly in my vehicle with Bluetooth.
Unfortnately, I also cannot get Phone Audio to work - click on box in Bluetooth Settings of this Pairing, but the "x" in the box simply disappears with no error message.
What's going on? Bluetooth has been around a while now, they should have got this right

Bluetooth on this model is not stable! I dont think Umi is going to do anything about it. Maybe if Android 7 hits the phone, it can solve this problem... (and create new once?)

The way I solved Bluetooth issues was to clear cache from Bluetooth share app then go to Bluetooth settings go into the profiles of your saved devices make sure all the tick boxes are checked. Before clearing cache some check boxes couldn't be checked.

It's not a general issue but a specific software bug in your case. If the process advised by boromat in post #4 doesn't help, you can flash the latest ROM with SP Flash Tool (first backup your data) in Firmware Upgrade mode to get a clean installation of the system software.Link: http://community.umidigi.com/thread-6763-1-1.html
