UMI Touch X won't turn on

I have had an UMI Touch X for a couple of months, and yesterday the phone ran out of battery. I plugged it in for a few hours, and the phone still wouldn't power on. I tried plugging it into my computer, but it didn't charge and the computer didn't show the device. I tried a different phone and the charger worked and my computer recognized the device. I've tried every different combination of power and volume buttons too, but no luck. I haven't dropped it, haven't gotten it wet, and I don't know what the problem could be.

plug it into a charger and hold the power button down till it comes on, could take a few minutes
