I won a Brand New Umi Plus E Smartphone on Android authority's Umi Plus E International Giveaway.
I received my phone on 10th January 2017.
I started to use the phone. But after the first boot-up, it started to create a problem.
I perform a factory reset (settings - backup and reset - factory data reset)." But after that, the problem remain the same.
Then I did the Wireless Update to the latest UMI Plus E.V3.01_20161217.
But again, the problem remain the same.
- it switches off by himself frequently, I have to do a hard reboot to use it again.
- If the phone bootups after some time of using its started to black out again and I have to restart all over again.
- The phone is not booting up in one try, I have to try several times to boot it up. And it's not staying in that way.
- The quality control of UMI is very very poor. If a brand new (Flagship) phone that's got this kind of impressive specs (Helio P20 2.3Ghz , 6GB RAM , 64GB ROM , 256GB extend memory, 4000mAh battery, PE+ fast charging, Front Touch ID, USB Type -C, 4K video recording.) but fails to perform, this is very disappointing and frustrating.
I was so much excited to win this smartphone. But now I'm very disappointed and frustrated.
