Secure Boot for latest UMI Super Rom.

Peeps I needs a secure boot for my UMI to many apps I need are not running because the handset appears rooted. I flashed the last secure boot but it makes my phone hang at the UMI logo screen.

Any help?

Hi,

Sorry but a secured boot image doesn't solve that problem. I can create you a such image of any version but it doesn't make sense. The source of the problem is that, those apps check the system log file and the developers don't always update that file after changing system components in a new version, causing a mismatching. I already reported this issue multiple times (so hopefully it will be resolved) but anyway those security sensitive apps shouldn't use a such primitive method to check the root accessibility since it's obviously not suitable to do that job.

Thanks for the response, but even Andriod ware app is complaining about the phone being flashed with unsupported sofware. I would love to try a secure boot anyway if thats fesible. I'm pretty ticked off I can't my Moto 360 with it.

That (Wear companion app > version 1.5 not working) has nothing to do with secure/unlocked bootloader, but with values in build.prop. There's a whole thread dedicated to that particular issue.
