Swollen Battery

My UMI Super has become unusable with a swollen battery. Check out the video to see for yourself. It is currently living in my bathtub since I am afraid of it going full Samsung on me and burning down my house. Before noticing the now obvious swell things started to fail starting with noticeable display artifacts (inconsistent backlight) in the bottom 1/3 of the screen down the middle, a fingerprint sensor that would go crazy and unpredictable battery life. I have never bent the phone (the metal frame is 100% straight still) or dropped or mistreated it. This is an issue with the battery only 5 months after receiving the phone. Banggood has so far offerred no acceptable resolution to this issue and are now asking to send the phone for repair. I am afraid to ship this thing as it is primed to explode and on top of that the swelling has obviously negatively affected other components (the screen is visibly bent and I am suprised it hasn't cracked yet). I would like to see UMI take a proactive approach to solving this issue. Has anyone else had issues with a swollen battery?

To my Umi Super (stock in europe) be the same, the last part of the open, mine is too - 5 month old. The last time working be to much hot .  Umi support dont answer to me. I bought on the link coolicool, and sent him out of the UK

Hi ,I bought UMI Z  from Gearbest  and after just 2 months of using it my battery got swollen , I tried to contact them but they keep refusing to do anything , I have also tried to contact Umi on facebook and they keep IGNORING costumers needs .I wish that UMI  will take responsibility for such a factory mistakes ,because costumers give their money and have phone for only 2 months or lees until it gets broken.

I am really scared to use this phone because it might explode any second , which put my life and other people around my in great danger .
What will happen if battery explode inside my house and burn down my house.
