Dear all,

I have my Umi Super for a couple of days now,
Noticed a problem since day one, the touchscreen (upper region around notification bar) thinks its been touched while it isn't

I enabled the option to show were the screen gets input (under developer options) and indeed,  when the problem occurs there are "dots" visible in that region.
Looks like the dots show and appear if i "bend" the screen a little bit.

some more info:
updated to: SUPER_V3.01.20160616 (day one)
Factory reset allready done

Do you guys think its a software problem? (sensitivity calibration or so ever?), and can i go back to the previouds software version without flashing it?

or is it a dead on arrival product?

Regards,

Same problem here. I have flashed with SP tools to older firmaware and the problem remains. UMI Super is not that so super.... And UMI brand is not resolving the problem!!

I have noticed that the screen goes wild when touches my wet face. That's incredible! Any advice?

yep, moisture problem....... may be moisture between the glass and the display, try to dry your device as good as possible for 1-2 days.
