UMI Super Touchscreen issue

Hello,

I have had now the UMI Super approx. 10 days.
Until two days ago it worked really good. But then it started with problems with the touchscreen.
On some points the touchscreen seems to do nothing or nonsense.

f.e. picture gallery you've on the right upper corner the three points to delete f.e. a picture. When I klick on the three points nothing happens.
This is not every time, only sometimes. SGS Touchscreen Booster has also been tried already.

So the upper bar is coming up and down when it wants.

Factory reset has been tried already too. Please tell me if there is a chance to solve this.

Hi Juergen,
in the video he say that he flash old firmware May 13 , 20160513 at umi website

And he say that it help him until a new OTA is comming

in fact I'm on linux, downloaded already the flash tool and the ROM, but flashing is not working.

I flashed the UMI Super with the 20160513 firmware and the problem still remains

What's interesting that I turned off the phone now for 2 days and now it seems to work for a bit.
Therefore I didn't think that the touchpanel itself has an issue.

@FreierMensch: I'm now receiving "invalid scatter file" for all three UMI Super ROM files and do not know why Really seems to activate windows

Same problem here...flashed various ROMS but the problem doesn't go away

I was able to flash with the old 0513 yesterday and today I will do some tests.
Really bad if the touchpanel will be the issue on the phone.

Just a question, if I flash with the 0513 original, so far I'm not able to automatically update the phone.
Do I have to flash it again for a newer version ?

You can do OTA upgrades if you want... Should work fine...if your touchscreen works ;-)

Do you run a SD card in the phone as primary storage?

I have some feeling my phone misbehaved since having installed an SD card so will remove it completely and reinstall latest ROM
