I have got a new unit Touch I rooted it and changed the DPI after that every time I boot the system presents me with a "system hazard, system may have been destroyed before" I assumed it was because I modified the system by changing the DPI . This message only appears once I have booted up the phone. I dismissed the message because it did not really affect me. I then tried to install xposed framework but once I flashed the zip and opened the xposed API I get this message saying that the xposed is not activated and that I should re boot. I have rebooted multiple times and It would not activate I think that with this unit Touch system changes don't take place so i can't do anything about it. This also happened when the I tried changing my emoji and rebooted to see that nothing happened.

I would like to know if any of you touch users have installed xposed successfully and if you get a system hazard error.
The phone I good but things like this are annoying.

I have managed to install xposed framework on UMI Touch, it says 'Xposed framework version 81 is active' but modules that I have installed so far didn't work. It is really frustrating... I don't think anybody managed to get it working on stock UMI rom.

Hi,

1. Download and install this xposed framework in TWRP: xposed-v85-sdk23-arm64.zip
2. Download and install this xposed installer with an Android file manager: XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk

It works.

Regards,
Bence

Xposed needs root access but you can restore the original state of your phone anytime with SP Flash Tool. Check the ROM section.

Hi,

I've installed both apk and zip file for xposed version, it says that version 85 is active in details menu. But none of the xposed modules work .

Xposed log doesn't log any errors/warnings either..

Most xposed modules are created for specific devices or can work on AOSP devices (Nexus series) only. GravityBox is a such one and UMI Touch is not an AOSP system smartphone since its base software contains custom parts. The fingerprint management is such a custom component.

Hi,

No modules become active after reboot . Why? This always happens with anything that requires reboot to make changes to the system. Could there be an update that allows changes after reboot? This never used to happen to the umi iron pro. Even though it was android lollipop there shouldn't be much difference.

You have to download, then manually activate the modules that are compatible or don't need any compatibility since they don't use system resources.
Xposed framework is not a such tool that is supported or ever will be supported by UMI. UMI is not responsible for the good or bad working of such system hacker tools. You may request the developers of xposed and its modules to make better compatibility.
I finish my activity in this thread but it's still open for skilled users who can and ready to help for others.
