Hi, I just received my TOUCH today...

I was a bit disappointed when I discovered that the bazel was not handling the screen properly :
The top left hand corner of the screen can move in and out from the bezel.
It is as if there is no glue behind that part of the screen.
Here is a link to lead you to the video : https://youtu.be/3A6qrOpjZAI

I hope that it is not a consequence of the new manufacturing process to avoid the white sports on the screen, which were reported by several users.
I hope my reseller will be able to do something under warranty.

Otherwise, the phone looks good with the 4th FOTA.
It is a bit warm, even when not stressed.
I hope devs will improve the software !

Regards.

And if a modo can tell me what kind of glue I should use to inject between bezel and screen, I should be able to fix it on my own...

Regards

Dear j_ofen,

The screen is bonded by a thin self adhesive tape, not by liquid glue. you can fix it by gently but firmly pressing the corner of the screen. If that's ineffective, I suggest you to contact your reseller for fixation.

Regards,
Bence

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.
Yes, I tried to push the corner inside. Even if gets locked in place when I push, using the phone makes it get out.
I can see the adhesive through the space between screen & bezel : it looks "expanded", not " thin", as if it has been stretched.
Is there a way to change or fix that tape? It would avoid me a 1 month turn around time to get a new one under warranty.

Regards.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

Hi,

If you try to repair the screen by yourself, you may smash the screen or tear its ribbon cable if you're not experienced in such tasks. So I rather suggest you to return your phone to your reseller for a replacement.
