When I upgrade to WiFi device to version V3.03-20160423_145142, it decompresses the package and then forever is to say "reboot".

How to solve this problem?

Help me, please!

Dear alopes,

Please, try to process the following actions.

1. Open settings --> Apps
2. Tap on the 3-dot menu button at the top right corner and tap on 'Show system'
3. Scroll down to FotaProvider and tap on it
4. Tap on FORCE STOP, then Storage and CLEAR DATA
Go back to the Settings menu
5. Open Settings --> Storage & USB --> Internal storage --> Cached data and tap on OK

Now try again to run the FOTA update.

Regards,
Benece

Does not work. It goes on to say "reboot".

In that case there are two other options, that must work but you will lose your user data.
1. Process a factory data reset in Settings --> Backup & reset, then after reboot, connect to your WiFi router and start the update process again.
2. Flash the updated software on your phone with SP Flash Tool. You can find the needed guides and resources on the following page: http://community.umidigi.com/thread-2939-1-1.html
As an option, you may uncheck the userdata partition in the flasher app before flashing to keep your user data untouched. However, this method might cause some issues since the saved data of old system resources will also be kept in place.

The clearing data didn't work for me either. Do I seriously have to go through another reset and lose all of my settings and user data for this update?

This worked for me:
1. Turn off your phone.
2. Turn it on again while pressing the volume up button to boot into bootloader mode.
3. Move to the Recovery line with the vol-up button and select it with the vol-down button. The recovery will boot up in a few seconds.
4. Scroll down to 'Wipe cache partition' and select it with the power button.
5. 'Reboot system now'
6. Try to start the FOTA update again.

You still can try the flash tool method, that I described in post #4 as an option.
Just to mention, until Rootjoy was used for updating (earlier models), you always had to wipe your data (that's processed automatically) before the update process started.

Edited by Gerrit507 at 2016-5-18 00:57 \n\nI get Update.zip is not correct in the recovery. Peformed a cache wipe of all apps and wiped FOTA.
EDIT: Also tried to wipe cache partiton. The problem still exists.
