Hello,
Just received my Touch today, and the phone so far is excellent!
I have noticed one thing though that I cannot understand... after the OTA updates, the camera is not laggy any more, HOWEVER, the image quality is not as good... zooming up just a little shows pixally/particals.
I can compare because I took some photos before the updates, and then took photos after each update I performed.
Am I missing something here? Do I need to perform some sort of camera setup?

I would appreciate some feedback on this.
Thanks!
Giannis

Dear marogiannis,

After testing some devices, it seems that, this update made only positive changes according to the quality of the camera. You don't have to change the settings after applying the latest update. I would appreciate it if you posted here those photos that you used for comparing.

Regards,
Bence

Hello Bence,
I am attaching 2 before, and 1 after (the best one I could select) the update.
Also, just as a small note, I used the app "Open Camera" and this improved the quality alot better again.
Note: sorry, but I had to darken and blur some personal areas shown on the photo.
Thank you!
Giannis

The "after" photo looks a little bit pixilated.
Maybe you should set a lower sharpness at the Image properties or a lower ISO value (auto is the default) in the still camera settings.

high sharpness

medium sharpness

ISO400

ISO100
