Hi All,

After loading all night tehn I start the phone only appears the logo of UMI and off again , vibrates , and again UMI logo appear it has entered into an endless loop. Is there any way to stop it ?I have tried to start it with pressing the volume key + but the menu is very small and I can not see the options. You know what you may be going ?I have the latest version of software and have not installed anything more than google apps. I've been using it for a week without problems.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your reply. Following your instructions I only get this menu with a very very little menu that I can't read.

Hi Sisome,

This is the boot selector menu. The items in a raw are the next ones:

Recovery mode
Fastboot mode
Normal mode

You can move in the list with the volume up button and select an item with the volume down button.
So, select Recovery mode on the top to run the recovery menu. In recovery you can move with both the vol up and down buttons and select an item with the power button.
Select 'Wipe data/factory reset' and press the power button, then confirm.
Now you can reboot your phone normally - 'Reboot system now'. Please note, by this process your user data will be erased.

Hi Sisome,

Hi,

I followed your instructions and have selected the recovery, the menu is still displayed and UMI logo appears three seconds then again turned on and off in blucle. At no time the Recovery menu appears . Any ideas?

I have tested the other two options and do nothing, still in menu...

Then there can be an issue of the bootloader. Now I suggest you to completely flash the ROM of your phone with SP Flash Tool, choosing the 'Firmware Upgrade' option. You can find the latest version here: http://community.umidigi.com/thread-2830-1-1.html
If you can't turn off your phone, then after you started the download process (you hit the Download button), connect your phone to USB, then press and keep pressed the power button until you see the red bar on the bottom of the screen of the flasher app. Then release the power button and wait until the flashing process finishes.

Edited by lordarbuz at 2016-9-11 04:35 \n\nHi, I had almost the same problem, like mentioned before. But with some differences. First of all, My UMI Touch cannot be powered up when it's connected via USB. Secondly, when I made Firmware Update like you sugested, My phone stoped to show the UMI (link to the world) splash screen, and stoped to light the buttons at the botom. Recovery does not work (shows menu, but after choosing any option it turns the screen and buttons off).
EDIT: After another few Flashes I'm back to square one, which means I'm in infinite loop of splash screens and vibrations (which are immediately stopped by connecting USB cable)

Thanks in advance for more tips
