UMI Touch - in call volume too low

Hi,

The in call volume of the UMI Touch is too low, need to hold the phone very close to my ear to hear something even on the max volume. When in a noisy environment there is no chance to hear the other party.

I will also add one more report of this - it is low volume but on maximum it even sounds distorted so I'm suspecting a loudspeaker (in earpice) problem. We'll see if any new OTA can change this.

same issue for me - volume too low even on max level. Also often sounds distorted on maximum level.
Looks like cheep and low quality speaker used in the phone

Same Problem here. The normal Speaker is very soft and the handsfree Speaker as well. I may be mistaken but I thought it was better before....

Unfortunately the EngineerMode settings don't work at this model except for the microphone. Normally all speakers of this phone can sound quite loudly but you might need to place it in a different position on your ear than what you'd think to be good. If the speaker is obviously too quiet and it even can sound distorted, then it probably needs to be replaced or at least repositioned. I suggest you to contact your reseller about possible solutions.
Equalizers cannot be applied for phone calling but the stock music player has its own as well as plenty of other options are available via Google Play Store.
