[UMI TOUCH] Google Play Store - Impossible to purchase apps

Hello,
yesterday I tried to purchase an app fro the play store with the UMI TOUCH.
After entering my password to complete the purchase the app crashes (google play store app).
Same if I try an in-app purchase: no way to purchase it - the google play store app crashes.
I already cleaned the play store cache with no effect.
In othe forums I've read that oter user are experiencing the same issue.
Hope it will be fixed asap.

I also have this problem tried to purchase litchi for my dji and keeps crashing at payment screen

Same problem, whether trying in-app purchases or changing the purchase authentication settings, it comes up with the 'goggle play store has stopped' message. Have emptied cache, emptied data, reset apps to factory, deleted google accounts and added them again - same thing happens. This needs resolving...

This issue is caused by the malfunction of the fingerprint sensor app. It will be fixed in a later update. Until that, you can make a purchase if you delete all existing fingerprint samples in Settings --> Security --> Fingerprint.

So we either have fingerprint access - one of the selling points of the phone - OR google play purchases, which is a default part of having an android device? But not both...
Hopefully this gets resolved as a matter of urgency because that's a ridiculous situation to be in.

Yes, it will be resolved but until that you can delete your fingerprints, make your purchase, then set your fingerprints again. With the latest update the fingerprint sampling process is much faster, that takes just a few seconds. Hopefully there are less users who buy something at Google Play Store every day.

Dear all, I had the same problem initially with play store and then just did a factory reset and started complete new install and then google play store worked. After that I enabled fingerprint and that also works. The only thing which does not work is fingerprint in playstore, this still results in crash...

There has been talk about a new rom and that is was being tested... When will it be released?

Yes, what you state here was already discovered in this thread. The development team knows about this issue and is working on a solution. The next update will be released soon but if you are trying to find the source of a problem, you never know when you will find it exactly, so updates never have release dates that you can know in advance.
