All of a sudden my Orientatiion Icon is gone from my shortcuts. It's used to be there aloing wityh the Wifi, GPS, Bluetooth, Airplane Mode, etc icons.

Temporarily I have installed an app that lets me choose the orientation of my screen, but I'd rather have the original option, not just fro convenience, but to avoid having an extra app that occupies RAM and ROM memory and it is not as "natural" as the built-in option.

Anyone knows how to get it back?

Does anyone have any idea how to resolve this issue?

Would an update to 3.04 fix it?

Could you tell us which one was that app that you installed temporarily?

After I installed 3.04 the icon came back.

In any case, that App (free) is called "Rotation Control" by CrapeMyrtle. I just chose that one as it was rated 4.4.
