Speaker doesn't work (UMI ROME)

I have a problem with my Umi Rome speaker, rom version 3.03. When I call someone (or someone calls me) I can't hear this person.
Factory resets helps for a few hours, then speaker is dead again.
If factory reset temporary helps I think it's software problem.
Does anyone has similar issue? UMI, are you going to fix this?

i have nearly the same problem with very low speaker sound

My speaker stopped working too. But no update or battery remove was helpful. Neither a rom update or a phone reset.

Hi matwie,

You should try to flash v3.04 by flashtool in order to check if problem can be solved

If a factory reset or an update doesn't solve the problem and speaker is not working,probably you are having a hardware problem.I think that you should contact with reseller were you bought phone and request for a solution applying warranty

Hi, are you referring to Earpiece (small speaker on top) or the big speaker at the back ?

My Earpiece is not working  - from the very first day !

Any help is appreciated .

i have same problem, cannot hear on ear speaker. If i change to loud speaker is OK.
