Is anyone able to work with the hotspot and/or tethering?

Yes for me works fine and with a very good range.

Thanks Toylhs9! It seems is a limitation of my carrier...does not allow tethering

I have problems with thettering. I have Orange in Spain and my laptop can connect with my phone, but it cannot to connect into Internet. I have probed my sim tarjet in another phone (Elephone P8000) and its posible go into internet. So, I think the problem is in Umi Rome.
