Your phone (if you've got an Iron, not Iron Pro) might have to be repaired by removing a silicone piece that blocks the sound from the microphone.
For changing ROM with Rootjoy, you have to enable USB Debugging in Settings/Developer options. If the Developer options line is not visible on your Settings screen, open the About phone page and tap 7x the Build number line.
