This is the SP Flash Tool release of the

V1.0_20211021 system software

for UMIDIGI Power 5 4GB+128GB

Flash tool operation is recommended to experienced users only. If you are not yet an experienced flash tool user, please carefully read the flash tool tutorial before proceeding, and strictly follow each instruction.

Except if an authorized or responsible expert directly asked you to do that,

never format the flash chip of your device or you instantly lose your warranty!

UMIDIGI Power 5 receives all updates automatically via FOTA method. You need this tool only in case of emergency (if you've bricked your phone), if you want to apply a clean install or if you want to clear all root access and custom recovery to make your phone able to receive FOTA updates again. Moreover, flashing with SPFT is the only option to repair (replace) damaged system software.

Extract the .rar file before use. The scatter file (MT6765_Android_scatter.txt) is inside the extracted folder, together with the other components

VCOM driver: Windows 10 can automatically install it. Please make sure that your Windows is logged in with administrator rights and your computer has a working internet connection when first time connecting your phone.

Here's an optional solution to start the flashing process on your UMIDIGI Power 5 if the standard method doesn't work.

It's especially useful if your phone is bricked or is stuck in bootloop

1. Connect your phone to USB.

2. Start the flashing process with the Download button in the flasher app.

3. Press and hold the power button of your phone until the flashing process starts (red bar appears at the bottom of the app window), then release it. In this process you have to keep the power button pressed for about 10 seconds.

4. Wait until the flashing process finishes.

Kind request from users:
Please report any kind of new issues you experience after installing this update only if you've already flashed this ROM with SP Flash Tool in Firmware Upgrade mode. In rare cases a FOTA update can cause more or less serious malfunctions but that means only the update process went wrong, not a badly developed ROM. An updated stock ROM, especially related to the basic functions will not cause any new issues but will solve some of the existing ones.

Hola Buenas noches no tengo 1 mes que compre este equipo y verdad molesta mucho que tiene un GRAN Bug se reinicia de manera aleatoria y además se sale de las aplicaciones y es incómodo que el teléfono se reinicie solo varias veces por favor solucionen este problema. Muchos usuarios tenemos ese mismo problema

Hello admin.

I just finished using the rar file using sp flashtool and the problem on my phone is not still solve. It just keep freezing and restarting again.

What might be the problem. Is it an hardware or software issue.

Alright.. I don't know what the hell is going on - or what you're smoking.. but the camera NEEDS ATTENTION! The camera does NOT focus on ANYTHING. Thanks to this update, I'm now able to NOT take pictures! What a relief! I was so tired of using my camera anyway; DEFINITELY NOT THE CASE!! How in the hell can you boast about having a 48MP camera, that's not really 48MP by the way.. And then have it NOT work for the users that bought your crap devices?! Jesus - as soon as I start making good amounts of money again, I'm not purchasing another Umidigi BRICK. This thing SUCKS!!

Big surprise there, huh? Not to me - I purchased the Power 3 thinking that the larger battery and Android 10 were going to be good - WOW was I wrong. That phone STILL doesn't have any fixes for the CRAP software that was developed for it! I didn't have any problems letting my mother use the Power 3 since she's not concerned about technology - but lo and behold - even SHE can't use it! The Power 3 doesn't even correctly connect to a Fitbit!! A FITBIT!!!

Now - I'm DONE with this company - DONE!! I'm moving back to Huawei or try out a Xiaomi device.. This phone, SUCKS!

I stopped TRYING to take pictures with the damn phone to log onto here to report the CRAPPY software.

Hi admin,
Am still having issue with my power 5. I contacted the customer care with the link you dropped. Their assistance could not solve the problem.

My phone now freeze and restart every 2mins. (Very uncomfortable to use)
Apps crashes on its own.
Opening link from Gmail doesn't work.
Unexpected shutdown/reboot
Screen freeze and reboot

I guess the software isn't compatible with the hardware.. please if there is a way it can be fixed to correct these bugs with the next update especially the freezing and restarting.

This software bug can be corrected with a single update. I have not enjoyed this phone since I got it.
