@ Unlord, I managed to fix the proximity sensor.
UMI, open your eyes to all this problems and complains if you want to exist anymore !
I have dissasembled the phone and under the main (upper) board it is an other little board where is located the light and proximity sensor. That is locked by 1 or 2 screws, I don't remember exactely. So I unscrewed the screws and I moved a little bit the board. I did that 2 times with no sucess, and the 3rd time when I was about to give up, I saw that I have fixed it and the sensor is working well. It is not located exactely under the transparent hole or the little piece of rubber is obturating it (I tried to remove the rubber but no sucess) so now the proximity sensor is now working normally. This is a construction issue. Be careful, you can't move it too much because a piece of metal is blocking the little board. Also take care not to break the tiny display chip, you have to remove it's connector to be able to get to the sensors board. I should have made a video but unfortunately I did not. I have fixed it late in the night right before to go to sleep so I was tired as well. Hope this help everybody has the same issue with the sensor. |
