Android 10 - Remove Settings Menu Suggestions
This solution can effectively work (tested) on all UMIDIGI smartphones running Android 10 system
- Install ADB on your Windows/Linux PC or iMac. (This tutorial is for Windows PC)
- Enable Developer Options on your phone, then find the Developer Options in the System (Advanced) menu, and enable USB Debugging.
- Download the dataab.zip file, extract it, then copy the data.ab file into your ADB folder.
- Connect your phone to a USB port of your computer. (The Settings menu should not be open)
- Open a command window in your ADB folder and run the following command for checking the ADB connection with your phone:
You'll be requested to allow USB Debugging on your phone's screen.
- Now run the following command:Select RESTORE MY DATA on your phone, and wait for the process to be finished (Restore ended).
- Disconnect your phone from USB, then open the Settings menu (the suggestions are already disappeared), and disable USB debugging.
That's all, you finished.
If you want to get back the Settings menu suggestions: - Go to Settings --> Apps & notifications --> SEE ALL *** APPS
- Select the 3-dot menu button in the top right corner, and 'Show system'
- Scroll down to 'Settings Suggestions' and select it
- Storage & cache --> CLEAR STORAGE
