Dear customers, administrators and technical support, I open this topic in order for askig questions about UMI Rome mobile phone.

I hope that the admins (@UMIadmin & @Angel_UMI  & @bencebacsi) join the discussion and to answer our questions on their and our favor.


I see there is lot of confusion from users around the product so I will ask the first question in hope that one of these admins/moderators quickly get the answers and write us;

1. In various places we can find a variety of specifications for the same UMI Rome phone, on some writes that Umi Rome has a reinforced glass, and some to have Gorilla Glass 3, and at some nothing.
    What is the truth? Whether UMI Rome have Corning Gorilla Glass 3 or not, what is the quality of glass??


2. Will there be Android 6.0 Marshmallow and when for UMI Rome?

3. When and where will be able to buy batteries for UMI Rome?

Totally Agree. But once thing is to "scare away" customers, and another to lie anc commit fraud. When you promise in advanced Long battery Life, AMOLED screen, and 5-touch and none of those things are true, you are commitiing fraud, besides being so pathetic to release a phone with 2-point touch. But if you warn about it, it's up to the user to buy or not.

But this is a lie. This is not some bad-programming software issue or incompatiblity issue. These are totally premeditated actions that have been kept purposedly hidden from the users until there were dozens of thousands of sales. It's FRAUD.

1) Is it true that the UMI rome only two multitouch points?

2) The screen does not seem to be a amoled , what about ?

Yes its true, UMI Rome has 2 Touch Points only. I tested my UMI Rome. It can only detects 2 touch.

For the Amoled, im unable to verify it so far.

1. UMI still claims that, UMI Rome has an AMOLED screen but it's made by an unbranded Chinese manufacturer and there's no information about the kind of the surface glass.
2. You can expect updates and custom variants of the current lollipop ROM but not a Marshmallow upgrade. UMI Rome won't be a long time supported model.
3. Spare batteries will be available later. You might find them on sunsky-online.com or at some Aliexpress sellers. The latter option is more probable.
