THIS SERVICE IS NOT AVAILABLE ANYMORE AND THIS THREAD HAS BEEN CLOSED! Recover dead fingerprint scanner after full flash format Please, use this tool only if you've lost your fingerprint scanner by formatting the flash chip or flashing an incompatible ROM
This solution is only for UMIDIGI Z2, Z2 SE, Z2 Pro, One, One Pro, One Max, A3 and A3 Pro running Android 8.1 system
Updated: 2022, February 28
Please note: By formatting the flash chip of your UMIDIGI device or installing a non-factory system software (''custom ROM'') on it, you instantly lose both your manufacturer's and seller's warranty. Therefore, the solution provided here does not offer further support, regardless of you are able to successfully use it or not.
As a requirement of Google GMS verification, UMIDIGI smartphones shipped with Android 8.1 system store unique identifiers of the fingerprint scanner on a special (tee) partition. It's similar to the nvram partition, that stores IMEI, MAC address and other unique identifiers, however unlike for the nvram (SN Writer or Maui META), a free tool to recover the fingerprint scanner data on the tee partition is not available. By formatting the whole flash chip (not only the partitions and data shipped with factory ROMs), that unique data will be deleted without the possibility of recovering it. Please never format the full flash ROM of your UMIDIGI smartphone! Fortunately, there's a working solution but since it's not a warranty related (manufacturing) issue and each phone needs to generate a unique activation file by our engineers, we can offer it only as a paid service. You'll have four steps to be done.
- Generate request file (its path will be C:\microtrust_metalog\the number you entered in the app as IMEI\thh.req).
- Send US $15.00 to xxx@xxx.com via PayPal. You may click the 'Pay Now' button below for easy starting the process. Video with instructions: https://youtu.be/E2WKiCI6q6Y

Please note,
- Activation requests without payment will not be replied.
- Since digital deliveries are not protected by PayPal's seller protection, we can accept payaments sent only as 'Sending to a friend'. If you pay 'for an item or service', your payment will get refunded without processing your request. Here's a video with instructions: https://youtu.be/E2WKiCI6q6Y
- Once the activation file has been sent to you (our service is fulfilled), your payment is not refundable anymore. - Send your thh.req file as an attachment to xxx@xxx.com with the subject ''Fingerprint activation A8.1'' and wait for the reply.
- Activate your phone using the file you received (its path must be C:\microtrust_metalog\ActiveResponse.txt).
