This is the SP Flash Tool release of the
V1.2_20171225 firmware
for UMIDIGI C NOTE

Flash tool operation is recommended for experienced users only. Do not use it if you cannot understand the whole process!
UMIDIGI C NOTE receives all updates automatically via FOTA method. You need this tool only in case of emergency (if you've bricked your phone), if you want to apply a clean install or if you want to clear all root access and custom recovery to make your phone able to receive FOTA updates again.

Changelog:
  • Android security patch updated to December 5, 2017
  • Some apps updated, which were detected as "virus" or "trojan".
  • Fixed bug with "Factoryset stop work".
  • Further minor bugs fixes.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SP Flash Tool
Resources:
.

Extract the .rar file before use. The scatter file (MT6737T_Android_scatter.txt) is inside the extracted folder, together with the other components

VCOM driver: Windows 10 can automatically install it. Please make sure that your Windows is logged in with administrator rights and your computer has a working internet connection when first time connecting your phone.

Here's an optional solution to start the flashing process on your UMIDIGI C NOTE if the standard method doesn't work.
It's especially useful if your phone is bricked or is stuck in bootloop
1. Connect your UMIDIGI C NOTE to USB.
2. Start the flashing process with the Download button in the flasher app.
3. Press and keep pressed the power button of your phone until the flashing process starts (red bar appears at the bottom of the app window), then release it. In this process you have to keep the power button pressed for about 10 seconds.
4. Wait until the flashing process finishes.

Kind request from users:
Please report any kind of new issues you experience after installing this update only if you've already flashed this ROM with SP Flash Tool in Firmware Upgrade mode. In rare cases a FOTA update can cause more or less serious malfunctions but that means only the update process went wrong, not a badly developed ROM. An updated stock ROM, especially related to the basic functions will not cause any new issues but will solve some of the existing ones.

oh man - phone didn't prompt to update.

been dealing with factory test failed for a while, then it went away.
now i got system ui stopped responding for the previous 4 days.

happens to both the CNote's i bought.

installed the last two updates July & this one and no more annoying pop ups about programs not working, great. hopefully it is smooth sailing now, was going to buy a new phone, now i don't have too

I actually turned off every single notification to see if that would fix it, it didn't, however now my phone seems to work smoother when turning on, doesn't sit there for 30 secs running through a 100 app's to display all their notifications

Hi,

On virustotal.com only 2 out of 59 virus scanners identify that file as an infected one, so it might be a false alert.

Good day! I have a problem with my phone's sensor, it works spontaneously. Examples here:
1.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aTMyxAYQpoU
2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JEPyGrgqLYU&feature=youtu.be
Resetting the settings doesn't help. On the forums found out that this is a GLOBAL problem of the phone (Umidigi C Note). Can you fix the problem in new firmware? If so, when?
With respect, Aleksey

Hi,
It's a touch screen issue, not about sensors. did you try to flash the latest ROM with SPFT in firmware upgrade mode to get a clean installation of the system software?
