cant install apk

Hi i am trying to install a apk for work.
ipnordic.apk but it wont install. from playstore it just says not compatible.
Direct install just says it wont insall adb install givs this error after fixing some permissions. Inverlid uri. and md install gives this android tmp-mksh: md: not found

Pleas advice this app works on my ecoo e04 and all phones i have but not on UMI Iron :-(

ps i am on 1.7 rom

Maybe it won't install because of the known incombatibility issue.
Look on Google Play Store for Google+. If the Store says that is incompatible too then try this solution.

Thank you for that Code79 you saved my day. if only i posted for help a lot sooner it would have saved me a lot of time.

It workd perfectly and my app is now installed.

i installed twrp and then tryd pico from the post but it dit not install. so i tryd the http://downloadandroidrom.com/file/gapps/5.1/gapps-L-4-21-15.zip first referd to and i can now install my app. it dos still say that google+ is not compatible but i dont care it is working with my ipnordic.apk

In my case i had to install the zip you linked two times from recovery with two reboots until all apps showed compatibility.
