ROOTJOY: New models + link to the recent version

Dear UMI Users,

I am pleased to announce that, three new models (Hammer S, eMAX mini and Fair) are supported by Rootjoy from now.
Users of Hammer S and Fair can download and install the first available ROM releases.
Users of eMAX mini should wait for a bit more, since that model is the first one in UMI's portfolio that's built with a Snapdragon processor. Rootjoy recovery needs additional development jobs to make it compatible with the Qualcom platform. Phone manager functions are still usable with eMAX mini as well.

Hi there,

No, you can't. First you have to transform your phone into a TCL M3G, then you can install those custom ROMs with TWRP. Rootjoy is not able to flash the emax mini.

Is there any ROM for UMI IRON PRO? After having flashed the new ROM do we still get OTA updates to next version of android? Pls confirm.

Its development is in progress, but the release date is not known yet.

Unlike all other UMI models, the eMAX Mini is based on a Qualcomm processor, so that's difficult to make it supported by Rootjoy. That job is still in progress.
There's no information yet about possible custom ROMs for eMAX Mini.
