UMI eMAX Touch screen issue + Ghost touch issue

I just got an promotional product of UMI eMax, But I cannot use this phone because when I switch on does not work properly,


Touch screen not work properly : stick to one place, cannot move to next step, so I have to logg off & log in to operate, then again stcuk
[size=13.3333330154419px]Ghost Touch:  Then it start clicking on its own ghost touching the screen. the screen changes automatically without touching


I am very much upset with this issue. I need support or solution much faster is appreciate. I have tried the factory resetting but no difference


Hope to upload the Umi eMax fault in youtube & other networks if no answer from UMI or better solution

Hi, hally. I'm a moderator here but situated in Australia, so I am only in contact with UMI people sporadically.

If it doesn't work without the screen protector then I don't think that glass protector will improve it. But let me know how you go. I'll see of I can get some other things to try for you.

I have same ghost touch issue i reported few weeks back.
Not sure where my thread is gone now.
I got no response from UMI after sending mails including video showing ghost touch and in the end gave up.

where did you buy & what you did to correct the issue

I bought from TO2C.com website.
I am not able to correct this problem yet.

Seller agreed for the refund or replacement, but it is costing me too much as i have paid customs and on replacement i will have to pay again and postage is an extra cost on top of that.

I am using eMAX, but random ghost touches are making phone useless sometime.

No all Gestures are disabled, infect i never enabled them.

Note: i have tried almost all ROMs using Rootjoy and all of them are reporting same issue. I have sent an video by email to russiaforum... email address already in case you would like to check what is happening?

Hi Just recieved my new Umi Emax from Banggood and it appears I am suffering the ghost typing whilst using the keyboard.  I read a lot about this here and on the net.  I have updated to the latest ROM with Rootjoy and it is still doing this.  Its random and is very frustrating when happening are UMI working on a fix for this??

Hi GDD. In your videos it looks like you have a screen protector on the eMax. Have you tried with this taken off? This seemed to help users in another thread about eMax ghost touches. Hopefully this helps you too, Hally.
