I guess you still have warrantee, just claim a new battery ,
Contact the store you bought the Umi super and they will supply you with a new battery
if you will contact Umidigi directly they will not reply to you and will get no answer ,i tryed
The supplyer(seller) of the phone is responsable for the warrantee and has to be handeled by them and is not handeled by Umidigi
on my Umi super a corner of the LDC besel broke off because of the Umi hardcase that is pressing to hard on the LCD besel.
I contacted Banggood about this matter and they gave me 4 choices
1) Sending the phone back for repair to china(you will hve to pay for the labour costs and shipping)
2) A refund of 50% of the costs for repair a local repairshop with the maximum of the price i payed for the umi super
3) sending me a new LCD screen so i could repair it myself (with the risk of damaging something)
4) or a refund of 50 euro
I chose for 50 Euro refund option because my phone is functionning perfectly with only a little oudside damage
just claim a new battery at the store where you bought the phone!
The Battery is damaged because Umidigi provided a not sutable andoid 7 release Umidigi wrote on the android 7 update downloadpage that the charging is not stable and not working properly
so they are responble for the damage, and even if this was not the case you are entiteled to have one full year of warrantee on the phone and that includes the battery !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So you are entiteleld to recieve a new battery or repair, just claim it at the store !!!
i had to send 10 mails before i got the refund but with some perserverance i succeeded
Ii think personally it should be no problem, if you bougt the phone a good reliable webstore like Banggood it will only will take you a few mails and some time !!
Good luck !!
