Use since last full charge:
Phone idle 141%
Cell standby 117%
etc.

I haven't done anything awkward in the mean time...

try the Advanced mode (right side of the reply window's header) and use the Add image feature.

Anyone else losing custom notification sounds settings occasionally?
Any app like gmail, whatsapp etc get reset to default notification sounds from time to time and I need to configure them over and over.

yep I experience the same. UMI Z at the moment has very bad software that can not maintain the right status of different system states of many features.
I experience it everyday with different features.
They really need to stabilise their ROM, it is very very buggy - nothing that stops you from working just many small annoying bugs and again to my opinion battery is still draining quite fast. It is workable but these little bugs ruining the whole experience as it is a nice device overall.

B.T.W. - disabling the VoLTE helped a bit with battery drainage but still its an issue.

I also noticed some minor improvement with battery drain after disabling VoLTE, but still not getting the battery times as prior to the update.

Current bugs that I am aware of on my phone:

high battery drain (started after latest OTA, disabling VoLTE helped, not a big difference, though)
smallwindow app constantly crashing with Google Music (I had to root and disable this damn smallwindow crap as it was extremely annoying)
VPN profile diappearing after every reboot, only shows up when I try to create a completely new profile
custom notification sounds in both system apps as well as 3rd party apps are being ocasionally reverted to default, still not sure how this happens, it does not seem to be after every reboot, perhaps after clearing a cache of one of the system apps
incall volume is quite low, all my previous phones were much louder when in a call
battery consumption percentages is a complete mess showing rediculous numbers like 255%
