UMI SUPER GPS PROBLEMS

I have the sabe experience with GPS. But with sygic it seems to get better so it may be a software bug. I'm praying to be fixed on the next update...

To make you able to validate your warranty is always the responsibility of the reseller that you paid for. If your reseller is unresponsive, you may open a paypal dispute, where if the seller remains unresponsive, you can get back your money even without returning your goods.

Hello,

I have my Umi Super for about 1 week now. It is a nice phone and great UI; however this beauty has big big issues with the GPS signal: It keeps loosing signal and/or the GPS position is not accurate like for 1Km difference. I've been testing it with Sygic and Google Maps and there's no way the phone will work properly.
The GPS signal keeps ''jumping'' from one place to another, but mostly it will not get any signal at all. I've been looking into other forums and it seems to be a batch production error that cannot be fixed remotely or with an FOTA/OTA.
What can UMI do in theis case for consumers like me? I've been using HTC phone like for 6 years and this is my first UMI phone. I just hope the UMI company doesn't dissapoint me (us) on this issue.
PLEASE HELP!

I am experiencing the exact same problem.  A Umi software update this morning did not resolve the issue. Can Umi confirm this is a software issue? Because to me it seems to be a hardware related problem.

Thank you for your response arcostacop. I already tried this and it does not resolve the issue. My Umi Super keeps losing GPS signal and when it has a signal it is inaccurate, often even 'warping' or 'jumping' from one place to another.

I don't have any case but gps is jumping...

@Wudur: No software solution works, sorry.  I even tried the HW hacks others posted here, with no luck.

I've spent days on solving this, but I gave up. It's definitely a HW issue and based on the feedback here, it's a serious and common problem for UMI Super no matter how UMI is denying the existence of this problem. Get a refund or partial refund (for example Gearbest agreed to give me partial refund)!

Some navigation software might be giving better results but it's due their programmed tolerance for inaccurate position information.

For turn by turn navigation UMI Super is worthless Period.
